Dear Colleagues,
St. Luke’s Medical
Center is proud to host the 2nd
St. Luke’s International Liver Conference,
a banner project of our Center for Liver
Diseases in cooperation with the St.
Luke’s College of Medicine – William H.
Quasha Memorial and the Philippine
Foundation for Liver Diseases.
This biennial event is a
most anticipated gathering of world renowned
experts complemented by our own staff.
They will tackle common liver conditions
both medical and surgical; benign and
malignant; current and future treatment
strategies to enable clinicians to cope with
the ever changing profile of liver diseases.
Our strong symposium faculty including
interesting topics lined up for discussion
will surely be appreciated by our audience.
This joint effort is
evidence of our commitment to academic
excellence and our unrelenting drive to be
better than what we are today. This
scientific offering is being selflessly
shared with our colleagues.
Our congratulations to Dr.
Juliet Gopez-Cervantes, Head of our Center
for Liver Diseases and President, Philippine
Foundation for Liver Diseases; Mr. Jose F.
G. Ledesma, Chairman, Philippine Foundation
for Liver Diseases; and Dr. Randy Mercado,
overall chair of the International Liver
Conference for the excellent preparation for
this important gathering of experts.
