It is indeed an honor and privilege to host another International Conference that will showcase state-of-the-art management of Breast Cancer.
In the Philippines, breast malignancy is the most common cancer occurring in women and in fact, one of the leading causes of death and morbidity. If diagnosed at an early stage, Breast Cancer has an encouraging cure rate and even if the cancer is found in a more advanced stage, the new therapies enable many to experience a good quality of life.
This conference is unique because we have included a workshop where we can learn to interpret mammography and other basic tools used in the screening and diagnosis of the disease. We also have interesting topics for the radiation Oncologists and Pathologists. The Surgeons will share with us the latest technique in the management of Breast Cancer. Our support group, the Corridor of Hope, will also participate in the Patients' Forum, which will give emphasis to Nutrition and Wellness.
We encourage everyone to attend the 2nd St. Luke’s International Conference entitled "Customizing Treatment for Breast Cancer". I am sure there is much take home knowledge that we can get from our Foreign and Local Experts.
